Had an unpleasant surprise from my 110 beginning of this week. Shoved the clutch pedal down and it stopped half-way - enough to stop forward motion but not enough to disengage the gearbox to shift it!

Of course, i found this out in stop and go traffic. Lovely.

limped it home (clutch alternately working and not working) and did some diagnosis. Undid the pipe at the master and it went to the floor - reconnected - jammed.

Removed the slave cylinder from the grearbox and it allowed full pedal travel.

Now, before you all shout clutch fork I replaced it 2 years ago when I did the clutch - no Britpart either. The arm end is not punched out - I checked it. The arm also seems ot move easily, so not jamming.

Now, this leaves me thinking of what all the hell else in there might have clearance issues to wear and jam like this.

I am left with a few possibilitiyies:

1. Worn slave cocking and jamming intermittently - the slave would have extended all the way when removed so not sure that was a valid test - also not under load.
2. Bad pressure plate jamming somehow?

This has me badly mystified - I do NOT want to yank that transmission if i do not have to.

I ordered new hydraulics - am going to try the slave first (it's been ****ing down rain here).

Help me out here, lads...ideas gratefully accepted.
