I have just px'd my P38 dse for a Ford Mondeo, diesel estate!! The pressures of the economy forced my hand. However, I am looking forward to 40+ mpg, cheaper insurance, tyres etc, whilst still having loads of room for the family and all the clobber we tend to take with us.

Will anyone still talk to me?!

I don't blame you mate. Just filled the P38 up £120.00:eek: In London traffic it will need filling again in about 250 miles!!

I luv em to bits but the cost of running em (whether you can afford it or not) is starting to make it less and less enjoyable.

Good luck with the new motor.

i think a p38/ most 4x4 are expensive to run as a daily driver, but they are cheap to insure, tyres last if not driven all the time, coupled with a cheap to insure cheap on fuel car as a run around, they are much more enjoyable
