thanks for all your help and advice over the past few years :):);)

Ok here goes, timeline........

1 New car purchased
2 Enjoys perceived reliability of new car
3 New car a a few small issues but not serious so will overlook cause it is reliable and sensible.
4 Sees nice looking Range
5 Tells people he is enjoying the reliability of new car whilst at the same time thinking "That RR did look nice"
6 Caught " just looking" at ads for RR
7 Finally admits to making a huge mistake and puts new car up for sale.

Trust me, I know from bitter experience. Thats why Ive had 7 RR and 1 Mondeo.

Do not despair Rob ... I too have "Moved on" (as you well know) ...

I got THIS>>>>>>

Absolute God Damed FLYING MACHINE!!!!! (it belonged to a Mate of mine after it sat on my drive fer 4 weeks I finally managed to scrounge enough cash together to buy it off him )

Must say I'm VERY IMPRESSED!!!!

I have gone the other way and have got rid of a Sirocco (2009) which I had from new and instead drive around in a 1998 RR 4.6 Autobiography. The Scirocco was a flying machine and handled brilliantly but ultimately was boring. My wife and children were hard to persuade to travel any distance in the Sirocco but cant keep them out of the RR!
Early days yet I know, but just love the RR.

Im in the same position as robp38 but just can not find anything that can replace the range rover looking at disco 2's but its not a range rover.

Nice looking motor Claw. I had an old 900 for a while. Superb motorway car. It died taking me down to pick up the Classic last time home. I'd certainly have another though. Haven't had much time to use the P38 this time home. Spent most of the time up in Dunoon and we use a Chrysler Grand Voyager for that. Acres of room and 30+ to the gallon even at silly speeds. When I do manage to get in the Rangie though, you still get the sense of occasion you just don't get with anything else other than maybe a Jag. Long may it reign.
