It wont start?? help!!

Hi guys and girls just found the forum, my old man has had land rovers for a good few years now, latest one is a 2002 range rover hse TDI.
Been great but few days ago the problems have started!

Heater blower stopped working on weds

Engine has been ruuning like a dream for 120k always serviced on the dot but this morning he went to start it up and it would not fire up?? cranks over fine but seems to not be getting fuel??? No fault lights on dash, checked fuses and all fine.

Im guessing its either the fuel pump (as you cant hear it priming) or a problem with the immobiliser maybe?

Any ideas guys??

can u see fuel going in through the clear pipe off the filter?

Don't forget there are two fuel pumps! As I understand it, the "secondary pump" is a known weakness although unfortuately I don't know much ,more than that other than it will cause the sort of problem you are describing.
