It All Went Crazy, when i was starting off for home, (everything was fine going home and it was - 7 out there)

Started it up, up came alternator fault, ( then i had a look in my wallet, and said no i cant afford it you will have to fix yourself ((christine the film))) it was running like i had my foot on the Accelerator, not fast but like when you have the choke on ( its an automatic) all the hight ride lights came on and some others, turned it off, started it up, this time Gearbox fault, stuck it in drive and it only crept forward, turn it off again, same thing gearbox again crept forward and then went a little faster this time, turned it off, it was clear no warnings at all, im hoping it was just the cold and it was going in to one, but thankfully its fine now

I'd say check the battery, I know it started ok but the V8 is an easy engine to start.

Lots of random faults is often an indication of failing battery. At -7 the battery has about 75% of the power it has at +20 and starting it might be enough to drop the voltage to create faults.

My P38 went just as crazy once....

I had been renewing a blend motor; whilst doing so listning to the soccer on the radio.

When I finished had finished and turned on the innition all went crazy - gearbox warning, horn hooted when I turned wipers on, lights flashed when ignition turned and more...

Put battery on charge and all was cured and never happened since!

I think these machines like a healthy battery charge - mind you those blend motors do tyake a while!!!

Its all ok now been using it to and back from work, wife uses it etc, all is fine

Just to say the battery is less than a month old, the other one went and i still had a guarantee with it (3 year one) never known a battery to last that long ever, so i always get a 3 year warranted and then take it back after 2 years, and get a new one!! lol little tip i do is, put the guarantee in a zip plastic bag, and stick it under the battery, they you will never lose it, and just put the date of the end of guarantee in felt tip on the battery itself
