Is this the right price for 1?

Hi all.

Picked up a set of shocks and springs a couple of days ago from a breakers, gotta replace one shock that was damaged.
Found the replacement shock but is this what i should expect to pay?

A good find, they are normally around £69 a pair although standard shocks are available at £22 a pair.
If you are replacing dampers (shocks) then they should both be done as a pair per axel, if changing over from standard to 'gas' then all four should should be changed as they have different damping characteristics to standard 'oil' dampers.

How thick am i, didn't realise it was for a pair lol. Clearly tired when i was looking at them.

It full replacement suspension that i picked up off a crashed V8. Monroe Adventure shocks and yellow springs believed to give 2" lift.
Other front shock seems fine, just need to replace the donut rubber on the bottom we melted. Had to cut the bottom mounts off with an oxy torch lol.

I know its advisable to replace both but is it completely necessary? Other shocks seems fine.

OK then Paddocks are selling them individually @ around 34.50 +p&p but they are also freely available else where.

hmmm, i'll do a bit more digging and see what price i can get them for.
