I used a hole saw on an extension and a drill, then a rotary wire brush again on a drill. They still needed a bit of persuasion from my no3 hammer and a block of wood.

Got a set on my 90 inc the jack holes for £90. I rate them very highly and they have taken some abuse and shrugged it off. Mine need a bit of paint next year as I've scrapped most of the powder coat off

I have a pair on discovery 2 for 2 years now, they've got a few scrapes here and there but are still in good shape but very heavy.
