Is this a fair price

Got the chance of a s1 disco 300tdi it has the later dash ,3 door ,need two bit`s of welding doing to rear body mounts the rest of the chassis is perfect ,having a good second hand head fitted and its being pressure tested before fitting ,water pump,full timing belt kit full service , mud tyres and will come with a 12 mth mot all the work work will be done ready for mot. I have been offered it for 1k good deal ?

Try offering £750 which then gives you quite a lot to play with.

If it was a VW t25 t3 or t4 van I know them like the back of my hand discos not sure! Got a fleet of vw`s allready tried a lower price he says a grand is the best he can go to. A mechanic mate of mine says it`s good buy just want some other people opinions its only going to be a green laner and my mrs will use it when weather is bad as she is a nurse .

not bad for 12 months ticket, but work on its going to need more welding.
check the quality of the current welding also.

Doesn't that change soon to where new owner has to get a new tax tag in there name?
