Hi,
Can someone please advise if a P38 has a plug ready to take towbar electrics? I saw ebay item 320174585597 which suggests it is but I can't find the receiving plug on my car? Am I looking in the wrong place???

Can someone enlighten me at all?

I've just been reading the posts on key fobs off ebay and it would seem ebay isn't always the best place to buy from - hence my question on this item.

Many Thanks

Richard

open up the boot and behind the panels which give you access to the lights on each side if you look in there you should see connectors which are ready to take the trailer wiring.

Its all ready to just plug and play for the lights but IIRC you have to add an extra piece of wiring+relays if you want to use the split charge feature you have on caravans etc.

But in general answer to your question, yes, its pre-wired and ready to go. If you can't see the connectors then reach your hand down into the holes and you should feel the plugs hanging there.

from what I remember I am pretty certain yes. behind one of the rear light clusters is the plug. think it is the o/side. remove the rear lamp cluster and there should be a bundle of wires terminating in a multi socket. thats what you want. bring your 7-core wire from the tow bar up via a grommet into the rear light compartment and make the connection where it will remain dry.
