I popped into my local garage today. And the guy said my engine sounds rough on petrol.
(1995 3.9 V8) I'll admit starting it on petrol it's a bit rough until it's warmed up. However it's runs like a dream on LPG.
So the garage man tells me that Lots of disco owners get rid of the LPG as it actually melts the internal parts of your engine and eventually it will kill it as it melts the jets etc etc. is this true or is he talking out his backside???
He knows I won't be having him do any work as he knows I do all my own mechanics so he's not trying to make money out of me so why did he tell me this??
