Is £7k too much for this?

:nopics: depends what you are willing to pay, what condition the paint, body and chassis is in, and what someone else is willing to pay

to be honest 99% of the above information is completely superfluous and just salesman speak which of course is all you get in adverts - after all most of us know what a disco is and roughly what kit each spec should have - what is FAR more important is the condition of her - body and chassis as well as engine.

it could be an absolute mint low miler or distinctly average with the price bumped up to try to make a couple of thou extra because of the low(ish) miles

its certainly a load of dough though and if I was contemplating spending that on a car the very least id expect is noit to immediately have to fork out even more for rubber!

ps are the autos actually that rare? that kinda surprises me a little...

pps - and I say all that having seen the photos ;)

pppssspss ooh ive been to Elgin :D

No I think autos are quite common,

I have never owned one, I know the Range Rover boxes suffered problems and are expensive to fit, but not sure about Discos

D2 autos aren't scarce they're more common than manuals, autobox works well and suits the car imo.

For that money I'd want an ES Premium with 18" wheels, full leather and everything sorted including a nice matching set of nearly new tyres.

if you have 7k budget, grab one for 4 - 5k and spend rest for the mods/maintenance

I paid 7k for my 2002 ES facelift, low mileage, full leather. A beauty. A friend works for Guy Salmon, says it's one of the best condition vehicles he has seen. I doubt it's been off-road, the chassis is in mint condition other than usual surface rust. Plus came with 4 virtually brand new tyres (18inch) ,new back step, new steering rod, central locking and fresh MOT. Love it.

Yes I thought this was hi priced, nae sure about the chassis as it has been wax oiled, not sure if this a continuation of previous treatments or they are trying to hide things lol
