IRD Pinion and Gear Casing Seperation

Hi,

I am having trouble separating the IRD pinion from its casing. I have removed the NUT, but can't seem to extract the pinion to replace the bearings. Does anyone have any cheats for doing this?

(I am rebuilding the IRD as the pinion gear no longer meshes with the bevel gear, I am assuming the bearings are goosed as it dosn't look too worn)

Undo the 5 nuts in a ring and pull the assembly out.

That will atleast get it off the vehicle.
