Hi. I’ve got a 2010 Freelander 2 HSE. It has radio/cd and Bluetooth for my phone so can accept calls etc. However, not sure how I can play music from my phone through the speakers especially from Spotify. Is there a cable of any sort that will enable this? Thanks

There is a mini jack socket in the back of the console.
Thanks for the quick response. Disclaimer here - I am totally technically challenged!! Is the console the centre bit where there are cigarette lighters or somewhere else and would so need some sort of adapter?

Down by your left hand, just the other side of the handbrake, there is a cigarette lighter socket that is permanently live (even when ignition key removed). Nearby there is a small round 3.5mm aux socket. Find a lead with a 3.5mm plug at both ends, plug one into your iPhone and t'other into the socket. Select AUX on the radio FM/AM/CD/AUX controls and play music on your iPhone through the car's stereo.

Later models of the FL2 had full-on Bluetooth connectivity, making the cable unnecessary.

Mine has 2 cig lighter type sockets one is permanent live the other live when engine running. My aux socket is by the back one under your left elbow
