Hi, all: l've had my ex-MoD 90 (registered in 1997, but probably older than that, say the experts) since 2018. It's a hard-top and fairly original, but with 12v, a couple of extra (interior and reversing) lights, rear ladder and spare wheel on the back door. No creature comforts, and with a later middle front seat added.
The truck is currently having a 300tdi transplant - for more urge and touring across Europe with the camping gear - and it'll also have a new rear x-member.
I'll be posting queries on the Forum about how to have my truck re-classified by DVLA as a private car, rather than what it is now (ie. a van), so as to avoid being hit by some of the more swingeing charges - eg. London LEZ, and the growing number of restrictions on diesel vehicles in other cities. Last week, for example, l strayed 5mls. into the S. London LEZ and was charged £200 for the privilege...
