Well this is a new one, my landy has been through some of the worst rain over the last few weeks and now over the last two days its developed a leak thats flooding the driver foot well, it seems to be running in the dash and dripping out just above the brake pedal.

anyone have a similar problem???

Front vents at a guess

My footwell is soaking after a good pour an all. Turns out its from the door seal next to the mirror . Its not sealing as well as it did an it lets water run in over the door latch cover then onto accelerator pedal and soaks the carpet......I thought it was ma vents but having the dashboard out put a stop to that idea as it was dry!. Good luck finding it

If it's anything like mine, you also get a little waterfall into the footwell as soon as you open the door. All that rainwater which capillary action has been holding between the rubber and the frame suddenly gets liberated.

I now have a similar concern !
Now we live in the wetlands, it would seem my 99 has decided to let its sunroofs leak. Never had any issues at all until this week, now I go out this morning to find the headlining hanging and the rear sunroof pouring in ! What's the best plan ?

New pair of wellies purchased Lol Thanks for all the replies, so far ive checked the washer bottle and its still full so no leaking washer lines and ive taken out the speaker on the driver side and there is water sat on the sill just behind that so im needing to go up higher for a thorough investigation.. im thinking vent seal but i will confirm..

well as it aint stop raining in Catterick I though I'd sit and watch where the water was coming in from...So after some time I noticed a small trickle coming from the window bracket. I have the 3 bolt version fitted to mine. So further investigating I find one of the bolts is to short and is silicone'd in allowing water to run in behind it and down....then I took the whole bracket off to find black sealant on the outside that only covered two thirds of the bracket.....joy. (thanks again MRM landrovers now called Heritage Landrovers...an other bodge on the wagon)....so I've got white silicone on the remaining bolts and I've got a spare bolt that don't fit flush covered in silicone to stop the water ingressing....just ordered new seals and bolts from Lrseries ......
.hopefully this will cure this leak!:violent:
