Intermittent wiper

My landrover discovery 1 300tdi has developed a fault on the intermittent wiper setting. The wipers stop half way through the cycle and then slowly return to the park position. Can this be the wiper relay and where is the relay situated.

I have the same prob except my wipers don't return at all. There are posts here if you search the forum. Never got round to sorting it but I think you'll find it's not the relay. You can test it cos the rear wipe has the same relay but in the other side of the passenger footwell. Swap e'm round and you'll prob find no change. I fink it's the park mechanism thingy in the actual wiper motor that's faulty in my case. Bitta praccy and you can stop the wipers in the right place I will fix mine one day though...maybe!

Park switch. It'll cost you about £10 for the switch. I don't know how easy the motor is to get to on a disco but once you've got to it it's a 5 min job.
