this is a strange one and just wondered if the same thing has happened to anyone else with an L322. when you pull up and select reverse then start to move the first time you touch the brakes you get a clunk from under the front of the car, the same thing happens when after reversing you select drive and go forward again the first time you brake the same clunk is heard ,then if you keep going forward or reverse it won't do it again ,Ive checked for play in the driveshafts and props and there isn't any none of the bushes or links are loose ,so i'm thinking could it be a bit of play in the gears in the diff if it is has any one had this before,it has only started doing this after Ive overhauled the brakes , any opinions or experience much appreciated ,

checked underneath and its not the cv joints its play on the prop where it goes into the front diff it has about 5mm of rotational play when the prop changes direction so dont think its anything to worry about.
