Intermittant power loss....

Well its that time again, a good 2 days has gone since I asked for help with one issue and in true RR style I have another!!!

I can be driving at pretty much any speed and occasionally I will have loss of power. Its like its gone to limp mode for a short period of time but then will correct itself and have full power again. Diag doesnt bring any faults as such, just sometimes a boost issue, but this isnt always in line with the power loss.

Am I right in thinking poss turbo vanes? It had a re-con turb 5 months ago, I know that doesnt mean anything really....

If this is the TD6 engine, they do like to split or pop off turbo hoses!

Injector faults are well known on the TD6 too....but that will usually bring up a code for such.

First thing is to check all your induction hoses and pipework, then look at the waste gate on the turbo for correct operation/blockages....

Also check out the fuel pumps.
