Bank holiday greetings to all,
Just a bit of helpful advice...
I followed these instructions Intercooler Cleaning at Land Rover Discovery Net and cleaned out my 200TDi intercooler... So what, you might ask - did it make any difference?
Slightly!!!!
It's like my Disco had an engine transplant! Acceleration is much smoother and it has much more power throughout the rev range. I love it! (I won't know if it's improved the mpg for a week or two, but I'm hopeful.)
If yours has not been cleaned in a while it's well worth giving it a go. You may well be pleasantly surprised by the difference! (But remember: be sure to get rid of all parafin fumes before reassembly )
