Can anyone put me right please. How can the pump in the tank push air in the system as it is in the bottom of the tank and it is pushing the fuel, unlike a traditional lift pump which is normally bolted to the engine half way along the fuel system.
so if there was a poor connection or fractured fuel line then surely it would be a fuel leak and not drawing in air like a lift pump.
call me stupid if you like or show me the error of my ways.
