No idea about Eire, but someone with better knowledge will come along.
 
Pick up a landymag at your local news agent. When I was buying them they were full of ads for insurance.
 
Try confused.com who use yer details to search across different providers.
 
I was in a place on the coast in county Mayo, lovely with very busy pubs (I managed to by my overdrive off e-bay bidding from a bar using their wifi!) . The evening transport of choice seemed to be a 1960's Massey with one headlight. My Series has a 1969 Perkins 4203, same engine that powered a lot of Masseys so the sound made me smile. Place was lovely, people were lovely but the job I'd gone to sort out was a shambles, a guy had been killed in an accident on the site a few weeks before I got there to look at safety and no one had told me.
