Hmm worth talking to. Though I think that if I was able to get through to the Cardiff call centre rather than the Delhi one I might have better luck actually communicating what I want to do. No offense to the Indian call centre staff but all they do is read off a script, if they can't get a decision from their computer system then they're as helpful as a wet carrot.

What I need is a time machine so I can go back and not lightly clip that fecking Audi last boxing day. This has got me genuinely worried, all the quotes I've had have been astronomical - and I've had "sorry we can't quote you at this time" from quite a few aswell. Makes me think that Admiral are going to triple my renewal this september when the whole no NCB thing kicks in.

Basstids!

Im with direct line for my 04 td4 se, £341 for a 24 year old carer with 2 non fault bumps on my name. The non fault write off freeby smash is now past the time where you can declare it.

Was with admiral who bumped my renewal upto £515 or so, called up to ask why and got told it was actually a mis print and it should be dearer still.
Told them to politely stick it.

AF were useless for me, best quote was £780, the guy made the play of we cover greenlane driving to which i replied, That's nice but we dont have them in scotland so means nothing for me.

What's the first part of your postcode mate? That probably has a great deal to do with it. Mine is central Nottingham, so I'm pretty much buggered.

ML6, so up in the central belt of haggisland. :D

Not the best but not the worst. ;)

On the outskirts of Gleksa eh? Interesting.

Hah, rigt now I doubt I'd get a mortgage on a new pair of shoes! All my munneh is being poured into this car - and the little that's left over I waste :D.

13 miles east of it. :)

I'm pretty sure that just being out of the inner city is making a huge difference - the scum are too busy nicking old corsa's to bovver coming out to pinch your Freelander.

Frustratingly I live in a very well to do residential estate with no through way blocked by a canal on one side and a railway line on the other. So people don't just stumble into it. However because it's withing spitting distance of the worst estate in Nottingham I think that's what's screwing me here. Though I'm starting to think that the place is a myth, never seen a hint of its existence here.

Anyone tried Insure the Box?

My estate is a no through road as well, in a small village. Freelander is parked on the driveway and i have 6 years NCB.
Ironically, i can insure a Discovery3, V8 HSE, for £387 and a supercharged range rover vogue se for £400.

The disco is very tempting..

I'd live in a tent before I give up this car. I've come way to far to be defeated by something as stupid as these mafiosos and their thrice cursed pizzo.
