Insurance Question , on Rebuild

THINK I'm ready for MOT probably next week, been on 2 and half years still got some niggly bits like door locks ect but can get it MOTd for now, still needs Paint job too but not fussed about that till I can afford it.
Anyway Question is what's the procedure for Insuring, Do I tell them about the whole Rebuild and what I have spent ect ? will be doing a change of Vehicle taking my Disco off Insurance and replacing with Defender.

I just told mine what I thought it was worth. Seems I need to up it a bit though after seeing a few sell on Ebay

Probably easier doing it that way. will have to work out what I have spent and what I think its worth. looking at what some of those on Ebay and other selling sites go for, its got to be worth a few quid

Take care you can tell them any value, but when it comes to payment of a loss they will use their own value, and you would explode.
You have to get an agreed valuation where they ask you questions and request pictures, they they agree the replacement value in case of a total loss.

It's on my list of things to get done, flux want 15 quid and 7 photos on my policy...

Think I will ring them first before changing Online. just to make sure.
