I can't fault NFU Mutual, fully comp £112 per year (D2 TD5) though I did have a 6000 mile per year limit, sold the D2 a few months ago. NFU are very fussy about where you live and security you may have in place, but if you fit their criteria then they do a good deal.

I was with NFU until I fitted a disco rear axle. I thought the disk brakes would only add to the safety, but they bumped the price up to a stupid level, saying they didn't want to deal with modified vehicles.
I have just renewed with Annetts & Orchard, £172 for me and Mrs FL, fully comp, all mods declared and no mileage limits. Can't fault em, and the boss understands Landys, he's on here somewhere.

Yeah my dads been with the nfu for years (but he is a farmer) but they don't seem to be able to help me. Well mines £325 with me and my lass, fully comp, protected ncb, windscreen cover, business use, all mods declared, which is the same price as the best quote I could find for it as a standard vehicle so I stopped looking to be honest. It makes me laugh tho that nowadays a lot of people change insurance companies every year because new customers usually get a better deal than a loyal customer that wants to remain with the same company
