Insurance help please

hi all

Bought this standard disco at Xmas and put it on my old insurance which runs out soon. So I want to insure it with a proper modified 4x4 insurer, as she is getting modified soon. I tried Adrian flux yesterday and they want what I think is a lot of money to cover my vehicle, especially when I have a couple of mates with similar vehicles/circumstances paying about £150 less than they wanted from me

So I guess my questions are...can people list any companies they know of or use that cover modified 4x4s please?

And, wot sort of prices are people paying at the moment for their cover?

I'm with RCIB and pay £55 pm with them.
That's fully comp for a 1995 Disco 1 with 2 years driving experience and the following mods......

2" suspension lift
Snorkel
Spot lights
Side sills
Diff gaurd
Tank gaurd

Maybe worth a try.

It started life as a 19j engined 90 van back, it's had windows added, discovery axles front and rear, alloys and a 300tdi engine which have all been declared on the policy
