Insurance runs out saturday and that painful time of making lots of phone calls repeating yourself 300 times

just wondered on some range rover friendly/cheap companies, as my renewal has gone up , although thats mjaybe because im now in a range rover and not the disco i started the policy with, not a bad price but ideally want cheaper

lancaster im with, just tried flux who couldnt get it cheaper, just wondered some more i could try who have land rover specialist 2nd/3rd car type policies ....

There was a looooooooooooong thread on insurance companies and costs started a month or so ago.....can't remember the exact title....but I am sure it had '..Theiving ...' somewhere in the title.....

Do a search you will find quite a bit of info in that one thread....

Sureterm are okay but you don`t earn NCB and get very little back if you terminate during the year.
NFU are usually good but were expensive when renewal came up.
You could look at Multicar deals, I`ve got three cars with Admiral and spreading the discount across all three works out pretty well.
If I were you I`d find a good broker and rely on them and their market knowledge to sort out the good from the also rans, and I`d avoid comparison websites. The specialist brokers often advertise in the LandRover mags
And don`t neglect the Range Rover Register - when I joined I saved the membership fee in cheaper insurance because my then insurer had a deal on for RRR members. If there is a current deal the RRR website might show it

thanks il go through the thread now, tried sureterm earlier but they said it had to be on private land when i said parked on the road or car park outside

edit, been through it, none cheaper and swift cover was 2k !!!!

swintons computer has just froze :/ awaiting a call back

You don't say how old your RR is.. but I'm with Heritage for my '87 RRC & through them insure with AGM who used to insure my WW2 military vehicles. Good deal & includes agreed value. Prior to that I used Carole Nash, also reasonable, but their premium included breakdown cover which I don't need as I have my own arrangements.
