Disco 2 Inner wing repair

Afternoon folks,

just a quick. Question, my inner wings(underneath ABS pump and washer bottle l are not too bad however I’m at the point where I will soon want to replace /plate then due to the usual rust.

I’ve seen repair panels for TDI 300’s however none for TD5, does anyone sell them or if not have any advice for repairing. I’m a competent welder however just seeing what is the best way to long term fix them.

I applied rust converter, repaired with fiberglass where it was hurt bad and coated them with liquid rubber... they'll overlive me that's for sure

That’s good to hear.. on the whole she’s a solid truck. Got a little bit of plating to do o the chassis with some 2mm steel and then protect the chassis again. The arches have been the same on my last 3 discos
