Series 3 Inner wing mods

Evening guys... so I’m part way through my s3 88 project, it’s fitted with a 200tdi, p38 pas system and a defender brake pedal box with servo... I’ve got to the point I’m head scratching and tea drinking on inner wings, the standard inner wings won’t fit so I’m considering making up some out of 3mm ally to cover everything (easy to work with)

I did see a post on here about using defender inner wings?... anyone have any thoughts or options?

Don’t know but 3mm ally seems a lot heavier than standard, I think floorplate is 2mm and that’s stiff , it helps with correct grade too

Standard parts are Birmabright. Which is an aluminium alloy. Not straight aluminium.

I just trimmed the inner wings along the bottom edge and around the PAS.
