COPPER WASHER

Gents,
I replaced the copper washers on my banjo leak offs and im still getting diesel leak on all four injectors

Ive ordered the above and aim to replace the leak off harness and each injector washer.
Due to the black tarnish outside the injector I pressume inside will need a bit of a clean with a hacksaw blade.

Anyone got any tips on what to look out for when cleaning/re-fitting injector holes? shall I just use the washers (ridge facing upwards) or should i stick some red hylomar in too....copper slip on injector also?

any tips and advice welcome,

many thanks

Just make sure everything is clean - replacing the sealing washer on the injector can be a pain in the arse , even more so if the person before you put a new one on top of the old one crushing them together and into the head :( .... .

When fitting the injector seals - fit ridge up with a smear of coppa slip on the sides of the injector nozzel ( also helps hold the washer in place when fitting ) , then coppa slip the sides of the injector then refit .

Tighten injector clamp nut to 20 .25 NM NOT lbs ft .
Leak off banjos (on injector ) tighten to 2 NM (its feek all as the threads can rip out easy ).
nip your Injector pipes up - job done :)
