Better all round to put some details in your posts then we'd all know without having to trawl through a million other threads. Ha ha HA.

:pThe only thing i can say that you two must not have a life if all you can do is find fault with posts instead of like most people on here willing to help others

Leak off pipe or high pressure pipe? Info that's pretty basic and required! Personally I wouldn't ask I'd phone land rover as its most likely main dealer only! You do have to do a bit of work yourself and not expect everyone to do it for you!

Ok its at td4 the pipe in question is the pipe which comes from the common rail to the injector leaking at the rail end

Well on most common rail engines you should replace the pipes every time you undo them because of the stupidly high pressures involved! Any swarf dirt or damage they're likely to leak! As I said I'd phone land rover as I personally wouldn't mess around with aftermarket ones even if they are available! And I'd be reluctant to use second hand!

Thanks for the reply didn't know if it was a common problem

I'm always perfectly willing to help. Just make yourself known and what the problem pertains to and you'll get what you want. There are four engines on a F/L 1, after all. At a guess I assumed you were referring to one of the diesels. At a further guess I assumed Td4, but you might have been referring to a Disco, a Series III or a Saturn V for all I or others knew.

Is this what mechanics do when they replace an injector, say? Surely not! Didn't happen when I had a new injector this year:confused:

The problem, Baron, may just be the nut on that particular pipe needs carefully doing up a bit more. Has it been undone recently?
