Freelander 2 (LR2) Infotainment dead

Bought my 3rd F2, just realised I’ve had 5 now inc F1’s!!.
58 plate,150k runs very well & most stuff works. Main problem is the infotainment screen is dead and as such the radio,Bluetooth & phone isn’t working,the parking sensors aren’t either but I’m thinking they could be linked. P.O informed me he had to change the ecu that the keys are coded to but he couldn’t remember if the infotainment packed up at the same time.
I’ve been doing a bit of searching and I was hoping I had a knackered dab module but alas I haven’t got it. Does it sound like a Bluetooth module?

You need to check what module isn't broadcasting on the MOST ring. The fiber optical connection is a ring (hence the name) and any failure in the ring will stop everything from working.
So you need to see what module isn't sending the light, which should narrow it down.
However a good diagnostic reader can also be helpful. All LR oner repairer for these newer vehicles should have a reasonable diagnostic device.

I checked for codes but it was clear. When checking the most ring do yo plug the loop into the module & the plug you’ve removed?
I unplugged the loop from the Bluetooth module and interestingly the screen started flashing “Land Rover”, which it didn’t before. I tried different combinations of loop on the module /plug,module & plug but it didn’t work. I tried the same on the module behind the Bluetooth but again it didn’t fix it.
I couldn’t find any more modules in the loop though, are they behind the centre console?
All fuses are good btw.

There are several modules in the system connected by the MOST ring, control module (with the buttons), audio unit (behind with the CD player), LCD display, NAV computer (under driver's seat), the phone/BT module behind the RH boot trim, with the audio amplifier behind that.
If any of these units fail, or loose connection on the MOST, there won't be any audio.

I left the battery disconnected for 30 mins and reconnected it, when I turned the ignition on the CD player made a load of noise as if it was trying to eject a cd several times.
I found the nav under the seat but from the rear I didn’t see an optical plug/cable.
I’ll take the dash apart and see what’s going on with the cd.

should I plug the loop into the module or into the plug?

Update: ive been around all the modules with the MOST loop, checked all fuses again,did a reset by removing the metal link but nothing is working.
Can anyone confirm changing the dash,footwell fuse board and key slot wouldn’t affect the items in the MOST loop please?

There's no guarantee of that. Modern vehicle systems are integrated, so yes it's very possible that changes to random modules can effect other modules in the vehicle.
It sounds like it needs to go on SDD for a full diagnosis.
