my father in law has what i believe to be a old "S" REG it is a single cab pick up and looks like a spilit screen type thingcould be series 3 it has the headlights in the wing but im not to sure what series this is , it is in quite rough state and has what looks like a rusty chassis, the front no plate was taken off to prevent theft but was lost years ago and as it backed close th the wall we cant see no plate but i was told it could be YFS 135S but after a check it came up as a fiesta lol so i will have to check, it has a 2.25 diesel engine which should start with no issues if a battery was connected, it looks like it has seen a few different paint jobs over the years, its currently being used as a shed lol..........

anyone know if its worth anything

so its worth selling, we have the keys and i could probably get it started if required we dont have the v5 as it was lost years ago, where is the vin number to on these

Bring it over to my place with the keys I'll show yer the VIN plate :D and the door :D

I know where the door is, do you know where my boot is cause with sarcasm like that i will break my foot off in your ass you cheeky git,

any chance of a civilised answer anyone. looked for vin plate under bonnet but cant see one and as its parked app 1 inch away from wall i cant open the drivers door etc to see there.

there int a vin on an S3 - the best you will get is the ID plate on the centre console in front of the gear lever.

no V5, aint bin run in years, about a fiver. Flumffs offer sounds a good un;)

nope i hope people do not get excited over an old nail because if they do i think therapy would be needed.

basically its sat on the back of the drive looking sorry for itself I know its hardly a proper classic rare machine but reason i asked here as obvioulsy there are some enthusiasts on here that can shed some light on it and hopefully may even want to take it off our hands for either restoration or spares etc like i said the engine is supposedly a good runner and a few panels etc are reuseable as is gerabox etc, you get my drift, i was not expecting everyone to offer £100s for it but as its my father in law thought it would be nice to try and get him a few quid for it , someone said it would be worth about £200 scrap, is that true or just someone on a wind up
tom

get pics tomorrow

not a wind up, depending on the state of it you could get a few sheets for it. I'm in the market for a series III at the moment, as are probably a few people on here

250 quid at the scrappers like I said before. If someone wanted it for spares it would be only fair if they gave you that much at least. Unless you of course wanted to pass it on to an "enthusiast" but you'd be daft to get all doughy eyed about it cos it isn't worth fook all as a vehicle really.
