1997 is the changeover year on the stalks. Does yours have flat 'blade' type connections or rounded 'bullet' type connectors?;)

Its got the blade connectors on it ratty.

That'll be the later 300tdi/td5 one then.

It isn't just the stalk that you need. The stalk comes attatched to the metal bracket and also contains the indicator cancelling ring too. Ebay would be your cheapest bet. All the other switches can be easily bolted on and removed from the metal plate. If you try and remove the indicator stalk they spring apart into loads of little peices.:eek::doh::p

If i had that info 25 mins ago i wouldnt be using hand signals and as a consequence slapping my passenger in the face every time i turn left...tis fun though...going round and round slap, slap, slap..

I rekoned that Ratty looking on Ebay thats all i saw was the complete unit on the bracket, just thought i may have been able to just take off the "whole " indicator part n just replace that. 98 quid from landrover for the indicator n bracket!!! 35 on ebay. Ah well may as well replace it as im sure the cops will be a tad upset when i have 6 micras squashed to me rear bumper lol. Cheers for that Ratty.

Though, of course, one only indicates left in this manner when facing a police officer on point duty... turning left for other drivers uses your right hand and an effete twirling motion... (in the UK, I should add)

(scuttles off and hides)...
