I was following the mpi vs tdi debate earlier and did a search on the auto trader website for discos in cornwall. I looked at this m plate 300tdi at gmo in penzance in may. It was up for £2500 but is down to £1200 now. This disco might sound good with only 73k and i nice pic, but please don't waste your time. I looked at loads of discos before buying mine and this was the biggest rust bucket i have ever seen. It had been waxoyled (by a drunk person), but it had severe rust, absolutely everwhere.
On the plus side, If your after a low mileage 300tdi engine it might be worth a look in a month or so when the mot has ran out and the garage just want rid!
