Hi All
Not been on here for a while but I thought that I would let people know of my experiece of replacing the centre rear diff mount. I know it is old news to some but may help others.

Over the last couple of months I have had a progressivly worsening louder bang from rear when changing gear especually 1st to 2nd. Had a look at the rear diff which was bouncy so I had front rear mount replaced Monday and banging gone as expected. So happy with that and driving experience improved.
But ....
what I have noticed as a consequence is that when revesing on full lock which used to be hard work and thought that the car wouldn't move is no longer anywhere near as bad anymore. Bonus!!!!:)
Loads better and flew off the drive this morning.

Ever since the front rear differential mount was replaced on mine there has been a sort of 'shimmy' coming from the back end from 45-55mph approx. - it is very slight, yet noticable to me at least. That said; the other problems have gone away - though I suppose with a replacement rear diff and VCU they should have.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause or other things to check?
