Agreed, I joined in Dec 07 but had lurked for quite a few month's to get the feel of the forum & mods ... simple solution if you don't like it here is DON'T return ... it's only cyberspace after all ... but the mods on ere are about the most tolerant you'll ever find:doh:

much rather say what i have to say in the public arena.
I realise you deal with many comments,as you did with my own,THANKS.But that does not takeaway the fact a 'senior member'of this forum can write such remarks as to cause offence,just as the one on this topic by carpy.The man likes to be abusive after 2 pints in the pub we've all seen them,and often had the pleasure of punching them(sorry bout that)but these ones hide behind a computer.I had my bit of fun with gemsdad same type of idiot,trust me i have stronger words to describe these fools but you try not to sink to their level,unless your in that pub of course.Sad to think on the few experiences i've had on this forum such abuse has been given out and I wonder how many descent people have been put off by these anticks.
No doubt i'll get a slagging but they know and I know their hiding behind a screen where they feel safe.FFS

If you'd bothered you'd find this forum isn't a forum in the usual sense .. we actually get on and do things together. There are meets going on every weekend, month, whenever, we interact online and in real life. As such we shout, curse, moan and fart at each other, but the forum as a whoile is a real community. If you don't feel it's right for you then see the first couple of lines I posted. If you stay you'll find it's a library, a travel directory a Font Of All Knowledge and a general sounding board ... but it's up to you to fit in, not the other way round. If you don't like something try to change it, if it doesn't change, then live with it.

I reckon this forum is based on 80% taking the mick and 20% good solid advice from Landy enthusiast's. Believe me this forum has saved me a LOT of money in repair's etc. LZ is not to everyone's liking, BUT you must realise that we all take the P out of each other, it's a good way to unwind and forget about day to day cr@p. Ultimately though, at the end of the day I'm sure most regular member's on here would go and assist a fellow LZ'r.
