Imobiliser probrem

Hi, having an issue with my defender in that when I lock it at night all is fine, central locking and interior light all work fine as does keyfob, however when I come to open in the morning the key fob won't work nor will the central locking or interior light and I will have to disconnect the battery for 5 mins and then all works fine again.
Anyone have any idea where to look for the problem?

Does the alarm / imob have its own internal back up battery? If so that could be failing to hold an charge overnight.

I was wondering this myself, I presume it is a 10as problem.
