Just had the td5 for its mot failed so did work took it back all ok next day went to get in it and nothing opened door manually and alarms going off its head. Tried the key procedure in the door but iam getting nowhere. Can this be bypassed. The neighbours aren't best pleased with it going off every time I try to get in it. Any ideas

as long as you can't remmobilise it with the EKA you're in deep sh*T... put new battery in the fob to rule it out, try with both fobs and if no joy and the EKA doesnt work replace the receiver and pray to be the fault cos you can't connect with tester to an immobilised BCU and the only chance you have is to replace the BCU with a unlocked one

lock it with key then introduce the EKA as per procedure...what went wrong with the EKA though?

The batteries are fine in both the keys and are transmitting I've had them checked its like whatever picks up the signal isn't responding.
The little card in the wallet has 2 sets of numbers but when I enter either one with the key it only bleeps once indicating the wrong code.
What is it that receives the signal? Is there no way of disabling it?

Sorted. Pulled headlining down and located a black box in front of rear sunroof, pulled plug off and it had green corrosion on it, cleaned it off and squirted electrical cleaner in it and on the plug, refitted it pressed the key and hey presto opens locks and even starts. Thanks for input guys.

If you want to check you have the correct EKA, next time your over Glasgow way give me a shout and you can use my Nanocom Evo to get it, I believe you can also reset to a more memorable 4 digit number. I've not been brave enough to try this - Yet

it means only that if the fob or receiver fails you can unlock with key too without triggering the alarm/immobiliser... this setting should have been named "always disarm with key TOO";)
