Immobiliser problem

Quick question, I've bought a d1 v8 3.9 xs, but my central locking n immobiliser is playing up, basically it locks,lights flash 3 times then the alarm goes off very temperamental.
Can Anyone shed some light???

If the alarm sounds and the doors are still locked it could be either the bonnet switch or the movement detector that's faulty, just unplug one at a time and see how it goes.
If the prob is still there after that come back.

The bonnet sensor on mine got bent, so it was actually lying on its side in the open position.

Another thing I have to do is make sure all the dash vents are closed before I lock it, think that has somethin to do with motion sensors as Discool said.

Tried them both guys but now I don't have any lights flashing when it's armed pfff who knows its doing my head in now

That is an indication of the fobs battery is iffy (info on this is in the owners handbook) easy done if u are testing locking/unlocking a few times, replace that and see what happens

I've already ordered 10 batteries for £1.26 lol so will wait and see. Will put feedback as soon I've sorted it

I hope they last

so carry a few in the glove box.
Try the remote later as the battery will have recovered a bit, and so the indicator may flash.. but the battery is on it way out ..if that is your problem.
