IMMOBILISER PROBLEM PLEASE READ

first of all i am a member for quite a few years now ive forgotten my password ive filled in the request but no 1 has emailed the instrutions

ANYWAYS
I BOUGHT A 13 PLATE PUMA CATEGORY FIRE DAMAGE
it had a dash fire which destroyed insides
i have sorced a wiring loom and parts to rebuild i have installed the wireing loom but relised once fitted it had no plug for RFreciver
so no central locking or immobiliser
the motor is immobilised i cant get it of
i have auto data machine got the eka code but will not accept it as no locks in handel never had them
i tried putting in eka code when inside car but it will not demobilise
central locking working inside car thats what i have tried
can any1 help in my quest thanks

lt sounds like you might have the wrong wiring loom for your particular vehicle.

The "Puma" engine is quite complex, it's no 300tdi.

You probably need to get a specialist in Defenders to look at it, someone who restores them and is familiar with the electronics.

I’m wondering if you can wire in an rf receiver as an add on to the the loom you have ?? Surely that would have the same result as installing a loom with it included in the first place. Just a thought as electronic stuff is far from my comfort zone.

thanks the loom came from same year motor and both were defender 110 xs witha abs a/c e/w c/l only difference was this loom i had got the difference was no rear speakers wire and no esp with i could live with but its strange not to have the plug in the loom to plug into the rf box mike

the puma uses the 10AS 435 MHZ ALARM and the alarm is the receiver
