Immobiliser arming itself

Hi guys
Can anyone tell me how to disable my immobilser Iam having problems with it turning itself on I have a 2000 defender110 TD5 without central locking I have tried new batteries in the fob ,

Any help would be greatl thanks guys

It turns itself on cos all vehicles post approx 1996 needed to be fitted with self arming immobilisers. It should self arm within 30 seconds.

You could plug it into a nanocom, hawkeye etc and turn the immobiliser off but be sure to tell your insurance co as it will most likely void your insurance.
