immobilised fuel pump,is it possible?????

I have freelander 1 2.0 ltr diesel could anyone tell me can you bypass the immobiliser in the fuel pump?? as i have been told that this is what could be stopping my freelander from starting any help will be appreciated cheers.
 
Normally I would say that advertising a method of stealing a vehicle on a public forum is a major NO-NO. But as it's a gaylander Post away :D :D

sorry about that but really stuck as the bloody thing wont start and they reckon that this is the problem so genuine query.

I bypassed 1 on a van mate so should be the same,2 ways ye can do it,run a wire from the pump te the possi on battery,if that dont work,run the wire from pump straight in to ignition barrel bit harder to do but that def works gaurenteed.let me know how ye get on,cheers
