well in the last few weeks i've had nothing but problems with the disco and i'm about pi#sed off with spending all my time fixing it, but if i did what could i replace it with to tow the pikey wagon?
and also whats a 300tdi R reg disco fully off road equiped worth?
i'm now after trouble free motering if thats possible:rolleyes:

How much is worth it’s a question you'll never get an answer…

you know some people here will say 500, not more than that.
While some people will give you more because of the off road extras, I know people say it doesn’t add any value, but personally I don’t mind paying a bit more for a car/off roader/bike with extras, as the extras would be money I would have ended up spending anyway…

of course that for someone that isnt fussed about the extras, then it wont add any value…

what off road extras do you have on yours? (and no rust is not an extra)

could be worth selling the extras separate?

get a volvo for towing.Dead boring, and reliable unless you get a t5.Then keep the disco as a toy!Or get another disco and that way you'll know waht to expect and how to fix it.

why ya gettin shut mate ? surley you can get it sorted ? any how what ya gonna get to replace it ?
ps i gorra nice 300tdi that might be comming up for sale but it aint gonna be cheap :)

the extras are rock sliders, +2" lift, 235/85/16 dakar m/t tyres, home made snorkel, all carpets removed and rubber matting fitted, roof light bar, any too much to type.

Sorry for the almost completly offtopic nick.. but the rubber matting you mention, is that the heavy duty stuff that has like an edge to keep the mud in?

I have no carpets on mine and was looking for something like that...wonder where you got it (if its the heavy duty ones)

aup mate it's the ribbed stuff from machine mart, you can get 3 or 6mm, the 6mm ain't cheap though, it's about 80 quid for a 5 meter roll, and there's just enough on a roll to do the whole of a disco inc the boot an a bit left over too do a tool box to;)
i used 3mm, it's looks good:D
