After lots of photos and laughter...

Haha good man :p

Being the gentleman that I am I will try not to laugh when a bit of sand gets in one of your disco's fancy computers and the air conditioned smug gets wiped off your face :D:D:D:D:D

:p no air con breaks for you then :D

Heard on the radio earlier a warning to UK drivers in Spain about gangs who flag down hire cars and foreign cars pointing at something "wrong" with the car then proceed to mug them and steal the car.
Apparently it's been happening a lot.

Hopefully in our mass convoy they won't even think about going near us... and to be fair, someone pointing something wrong with a Landy is probably actually right, but, something to be aware of :)

Nooo I take it back! :p

I think the rule is don't stop for anything/anyone and hope you don't break down anywhere too rough! If you do get out the car at the road because you have been stopped, leave someone inside with the keys and get them to lock your door when you get out..

But shouldn't be a problem for a convoy of us anyway :)

It could be quite fun if a couple of Spanish yobs pull one of us over and all 6 vehicles pull up... blocking them in... :D

:crutch:

A little self security that works well is have a can of wasp& hornet spray for bandits etc spray to the face. Gives you a few minutes to get out of a bad situation Does no harm to them as it wash out with water.

Fire extinglisher will do the same job i feel :D

I have some added security in the form of a 2.5ft breaker bar and some cling film ;). Spanish gangs are the last of my worry haha.

Was good to see you all yesterday, didnt realise it was so late!! My friend was getting some abuse from his other half as soon as we got in the car park and got signal hence the mad drive home haha.

Did we come up with anything on the flux front?

Yeah was good, didn't realise the time either!

I'm not sure, I don't think we did really..

THANK YOU ADRIAN FLUX!:D

Also for info if you flatten your main battery & then press the button to link/use your 2nd battery to start your engine, it wont start it !

Have you installed it right? just asking?

My main battery was flat and one push of the link button and a turn of the key had us started again.

Thats what its made to do isnt it?

The myway evolution is one of the lightest tents you can buy at 35KG

Haha I wasn't to bad, already pre warned her I would be home late. Chris on the other hand was supposed to pick his gf up about 9.30 :p. We hammed it back to mine then he had the drive back to Herts so I'm guessing he didnt arrive until 11.30 lol

It's brilliant, really can't fault it. As I said it's a lot lighter than every other roof tent I have seen which is obviously a big deal when it comes to putting stuff on the roof.

I compared it with a friends hannibal which would have been my second choice and I much preferred the myway evolution, it's much better for UK camping because it made of Oxford nylon not canvas, so it's properly waterproof and UV proof and also won't go mouldy even if stored damp.

Normally nylon tents you have the issue of condensation but this has a vent in the top and the flysheet (which is fixed) has a 3 inch gap between that and the inner tent which means no condensation and makes it much quieter in the wind too.

I really I am sold mate, I think it's the best out there.. But as with all tents not worth the money for a new one.. the base model is £1400  I paid £590 for mine on the bay and it's mint.

Thor,

We've not done anything per say, yet anyway.

As there is a decent amount of members going on this trip, I thought it would be an idea to see if I can prize the wallets of the company open and offer support by supplying the group something they will all be able to benefit from.

Hopefully, the strings I pull will make the puppet dance!

Cheers,

Ed
