idle rpm imcrease

last night i had my engine tick over rpm increased from 728 to 770(p38 dse) and its fantastic. take off from standstill is much easier and when i hit the gas i have a much better response its like a new machine. so credit where it is due thank you to spudH for his time and knowledge

You can do it with a Nanocom

Can only be done with diag. Idle is 750 RPM plus or minus 50. I cannot see how an extra 42 RPM has made such a difference. But as long as the OP is happy let it be so.

Wonder if it is hiding an underlying issue? Tired FIP?

@seanmull , rings a bell. Did you have an issue with a slipping clutch?
