Is there anyway of identfying what hubs I need??

Tried two so far, first one seemed to have 3/8 bolts...mine has M10.
Second one the space between the bearings is too small, by over an inch.
(ie outer bearing is inset from the threaded portion of the stub axle by about an inch!!!)

Landy is a 1986 Ex-Mod 90. Chassis number SALLDVAC7AA2XXXXX.

Although anyone's guess if this is the original axle or not...

Been having a problem of excessive freeplay in the wheel, which is resolved by changing the bearings, but keeps coming back, so would reckon its either the stub axle or the hub...

Cheers, Paul W.

if the bearings are installed properly and the stub axle is a tight fit i would suspect that the play is coming from your swivel pins somewhere. are the seals leaking? infact, is there any oil/grease in the housing?

will try and get some photos taken.

a few ppl have pointed me to the swivels, however the free play is totally removed for a week or two after replacing the bearings...so think it is likely to be in that area, dunno though. Guess its just a case of start checking and replacing parts til the problem goes away.

well got a new wheel hub that matched my exisiting one, result.

all fitted and no more play in that corner. :)

Still a bit of juddering under braking, so not completely resolved, but a big step in the right direction.

Right, time to look at me swivels next :D .

Thanks, Paul W.
