Putting a Alpine 4 Channel amp in my 110 CSW 1995 fender. Its only 25cm x 20cm. Where is the best place to put it where its out of the way, easy to route the wires and doesn't require drilling too many holes. I already have an amp on the sub box that sticks out so looking for something slightly concealed. I was thinking:
1) Passenger side below dash attached to the bulkhead / firewall, but maybe noisy there, distortion.
2) In the box below the driver's seat, but could be cold and wet there.

Confused. Any thoughts for this amateur would be welcomed.

Thanks

Z

Best place for it? Rude boy Corsa I reckon.
Though, if I were putting one in, beneath the drivers seat is a good place (you'll need to do some serious wading to get it wet in there), or underneath the rear seats (should be enough room between the bulkhead and seat base).

Behind the front seats

I'd say in the battery box under the passenger seat.
That will have the added advantage of making the main power lead as short as possible.
The last owner of my 110 fitted a compact amp/sub sub in there, and it's worked fine for five years.

Thanks for all the replies. I like that under cubby idea. saw it for less on craddocks. Let me play with the puppy, see if it will fit under seats. Powering close to 900 watts (including 500 watt sub) so hopefully will drown out some road noise. :D

You won't be able to fit the amp in that under cubby safe box.
But l suppose the amp could go under the seat, although it would make access to the battery/under seat compartment more difficult.
Better to fit it inside the existing compartment under the seat.
