Was talking to the mot man tuvva day. He said they is bringing int a new rule where the results from the machines testing yer car will be added the... phooter system online. They will have ter buy new kit to do it. When they moved to online phooters they were teld they would not lose out financially. But they paid for the new phooter when the system changed.

It's dry and the sun is now showing its face but how long that will stay is anyone's guess as there is a definite nip in the air.

The little one has spent the morning walking around with last night's uneaten Bonio in his mouth - he doesn't want it but is determined the big 'un isn't going to have it not that he is remotely interested in it as he is still fast asleep.
Have a good Monday, folks.:)

First real day of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Paff. 25k to walk from St Dogmaels to Newport.

Morning All :D
A really poor night's sleep (back & neck hurting) but here we are again. :)
Man next door has started digging out the footings for their massive extension. So there's a whole week of that to look forward to, plus the building after that right up till Xmas. :(
Not sure if I shall be doing any painting today or not.
Have a great day everyone. :D

Our current neighbours are having an extension and they dug the foundations in 2 days and poured them in one day. I was quite impressed as I thought the mini digger they had would struggle!

Guid morn

So another week of retirement, eh I mean job hunting.

Got to laugh I applied for a job at Tesco as Customer Assistant, got a response saying they were not going to pursue my application
and that there may well be other posts more suited to my level of experience...dont see an opening for Head of Engineering / Project Manager at Tesco !
I'll try stating out of work single parent with no experience, qualifications other than University of life and see how far that gets me.
Dont they get it I only want a part time pocket money job !
I have just applied for similar with ALDI and see how far that goes. At least I can relate this during my fortnightly call with the Social.

So today, have dropped wife's car into garage, thereafter river walk / gym perhaps, n potter about in garage....stress free.

Enjoy your week working or otherwise

Girlfriend is going to buy me a car and a lap top or l pad so happy days
Need a car with tow bar, reliable and decent looking for about 3k, any suggestions ??
She wouldn't happen to have an ugly sister going begging would she?;););););)
Actooly, if she is "going begging" she wouldn't be likely to buy me car and a laptop now would she?!
I was speaking figuratively of course!;););)

Take the day off mate, you know it makes sense!:)

Well mornin all.
Weather so so today.
One dog licking her paw all the time. Last time we tried to look at it for her she didn't want us to.
Think we are going to have to force the situation a bit more today.:( We have muzzles but I doubt it'll come to that. But she doesn't even want to go downstairs.
Plan to phone the geezer about a new/SH front prop and some other wheel nuts, i.e without the swelling caused by rust.
Herself has an upset tummy :( for no apparent reason.:(
Did the crossword in the French local paper. :):):):) who knew that an "enfeu" was a funereal niche? Seems to mean "in (a) fire" or even "on fire" to me!:eek::eek:
Anyway, must get on.
Have a lovely day chaps and chapesses!:):):):)

No, you didn't!

Oh yes we did:D.
The biggest items were the motorbike, chesterfield sofa with QA chair and club chair(?) fridge and freezer, washing machine, A bed that came apart so just pieces and a generator. then just clothes and a few small items of electrical nature. Loads of boxes of little bits and some are now in the loft space still to be opened 12yrs on:oops:.

The little box trailer has had the top cut off and is now our log trailer around the house.
The big trailer is now the garden shed:D.
