I just did a comparison for some granite slabs I bought a couple of months ago. Comparing the volume to the pallet weight for transport, it comes out about 2.7 tonne per cubic metre, so your slates (similar density to granite) could be about 400 kilos2 trips then

Egsactly, and if you can find an old mattress or summat to put under them?They are less than 2kgs each so only the same as 2 fat chaps. Stand on edge so they don’t compress & break
