Have you ever tried filling a complete lanny clutch and brake system pretty much complete refill and if so how much do you reckon it would take? I'm on 7 ltrs now and a bit to go. I've been fixing landrovers probably 30 years now and never have I got through so much brake and clutch

Never had to change a clutch. Peeps ask me to but I have an auto. I would say about 1500L because yer tipping it int sunroof. Are any of the joints leaky? Could it be leaking from the door seals?

Wiv all dew respecs ter Va Lard Hippypottymouf, might I venture to suggest vat yer bellhousin is now full o' watter ann clutch oil, coz sum one fergotted ter put da slave seals in so it'll clean yer system out

Mornin. Back onna Sarf coast, wery ot n sticky drive back down yesterday. Needs a funderstorm. Dunno if you heard about it but there was a world record attempt 'parade of Land rovers' on Saturday.. Just a bit of silly, but was germins had it at 632 or summink like that. I heard we had 917! Jus need to get it ratified..

Never seen a discos headlights held on with gaffer tape, but I've seen a few sunroofs held down with the stuff to stop them floating away

Morning all. Ta for the replies. Ref the clutch brake fluid thing, put a new clutch master and slave on, 2 new calipers and new discs pads all round. In the course of which drained every last drop of fluid out. Just looking at it and they are small bore pipes thinking how the hell 7 ltrs? But on reflection guess the abs unit, 4 double piston calipers ,reservoir plus clutch and about a million miles of pipework will use a fair bit. Checked inside, nah just the usual water from two sun roofs, heater matrix leak and tears of frustration. Have a nice day youall

Forgot to mention new brake master cylinder as well
